The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Future – 2013

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Future - 2013

This is a fantasy game idea I came up with, back when people were constantly ripping Nintendo for making great games but weak hardware.

Mediums: 3DS Max (with TP model rips), Photoshop.

Concept: The first cross-platform title released by Nintendo Interactive after it’s split from the hardware division, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Future is the gritty, mature take on the Zelda franchise that hardcore gamers have been waiting for. Featuring the same action-oriented gameplay the series is famous for, LTTF brings more than ever to the table with two massive worlds to explore, innovative new camera controls, Assassin-Creed-style freeruning and climbing, dozens of new weapons and outfits, and, for the first time ever in a Zelda game, fully voice-acted dialogue.

From the back of the box: “A thousand years after the last great war with Ganon, Hyrule is now a modern hub of technology and innovation, but dark clouds are on the horizon. A new evil is rising. Link, a young man of this world named for his ancestor and hero of that ancient war, will find his courage tested as he becomes embroiled in a conflict that has been brewing for centuries. He will find new allies and enemies both in his own time, and in the past as he is magically transported to the era of his ancestor. Can Link defeat the forces of evil before they destroy both the past and his future? The fate of history lies in your hands!”
